RELIEF SERVICES
ART = Active Release Technique:
A highly effective soft tissue management system that alleviates
muscle pain commonly associated with tendonitis, bursitis, sprain/strains,
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, etc.
Range of Motion Testing:
An advanced computer software package that is highly sensitive
in accessing the bodies Range of Motion discrepancies, as well
as, muscle imbalances. This information allows the Doctor to
customize a patient’s treatment plan.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation:
– Passive – Allows the patient, to reach optimal
healing, by releasing a person’s natural opiates of their
body through the use of gentle electrical impulses. Decreases
inflammation and selling of the injured area.
Ultrasound:
– Passive – One of the deepest penetrating modalities
using Ultrasound waves to alleviate pain and inflammation associated
with many common neuromuscular conditions including Golfer’s
Elbow and others.
Intersegmental Traction:
An effective procedure that allows each of the 24 segments of
the spine to be gently distracted, by a gentle rolling movement,
in order for nerve root irritation to be alleviated.
Lumbar/ Cervical Traction:
Traction is one of the most effective treatments, stretching
the spine to decompress nerve root irritation caused by arthritis
and disc herniations.
Tens Unit:
A portable unit that allows a patient to manage their pain using
gentle electrical impulses. This allows a patient to decrease
their pain when they are at home or at work.
Myofascial Release:
Soft tissue management System that uses motion and specific
contacts on the injured areas to break up adhesions or “muscle
knots”
Trigger Point Therapy:
Soft tissue management system that uses manual pressure to break
up muscle knots and adhesions to ensure optimal healing of the
affected muscle.
